The Plague 2025 - Wrap-up
It all started with a weather forecast of doom, as the storm Amy just hit the west coast of Norway the day before.
Thankfully, the storm just added to the atmosphere at Spiralen café
The Plague 2025 was fully booked already in April, as we set a cap of 64 players. This way we could ensure plenty of space for everybody - and our guest artist Jeff Menges, which had his first trip to Norway. Thanks again, Jeff!
Jeff and his wife Lynne, busy at the event site
Friday was Sorcery night, and 18 players battled for glory, honour and sweet prizes.

The traditional goulash-dinner
We witnessed many great decks and spectacular Magic at the tournament. The top 8 was top class and extremely exciting to watch. Look forward to the recordings and commentary from the Farmstead-crew!

In the end, resident UR player Johannes made all the way through, undefeated. Congratulations, Johannes! Well played.

As previous years, donations from the players and surplus from the event was given to the Hospital Clowns in Norway, who works tirelessly to brighten the days for hospitalised children. Thank you everyone.
I hope you all had a great time - we sure did - and look forward to hosting for you again next year!

Special thanks to Odd and Kjell of Farmstead MTG and Joakim of NOSMTG, Mitja Held and Alban Lauter of Skyguild, and of course the one and only Jeff Menges.
